Itta Bena, Miss.- Mississippi Valley State Football will play an 11-game schedule during the 2021 fall campaign. The Delta Devil slate includes six road games and five home contests at Rice-Totten Stadium.The Delta Devils first two games are on the road with trips to Murray, Kentucky on Sept.4th to play Murray State, then to Nacogdoches, Texas on Sept. 18th for a contest against the Lumberjacks of Stephen F. Austin. MVSU will open the gates of Rice-Totten Stadium on Sept. 25th as the Delta Devils host the Jaguars of Southern University to open Southwestern Athletic Conference play. On Oct. 2nd the North Carolina Central Eagles will travel to Itta Bena, Mississippi for Homecoming here in “The Delta” against the Delta Devils. On Oct. 9th the Delta Devils will travel to Daytona Beach, Florida to play a familiar foe in Bethune Cookman as they enter their inaugural season in the SWAC. Home games vs Alcorn State on Oct. 16th and another newcomer to the conference in Florida A&M on Oct. 23rdfollowed by a contest against Jackson State on Oct. 30th which will be Trailblazers weekend to close out a three-game home stint. The Delta Devils then hit the road to Huntsville, Alabama for a contest against Alabama A&M on Nov. 6th before returning home to host the Hornets of Alabama State on Nov. 13th. The regular season ends on the road in Houston, Texas with a season-finale with the Panthers of Prairie View A&M on Nov. 27th.
