Scouting The Opponent: Nicholls Colonels
While the Red and Gray’s record of 1-4 and stats may not look impressive, it can be misleading as they faced SEC foe Missouri and New Orleans baseball power Tulane in its first five contests, taking one-of-four from the Tigers in Thibodaux.
Jacob Hager has been the most consistent batter for Nicholls, logging a .538 batting average (2nd in Southland), averaging 1.75 hits per game (7th in Southland) for a total of seven base knocks (8th in Southland), and sporting a slugging percentage of .769 (9th in Southland).
