Mississippi Valley State Top Performers

• Breeauna Troup was the only Devilette to reach base safely, taking one for the team with a hit-by-pitch.

• Aulora Edwards and MyKaila Fleming were both able to make it onto the basepaths as well with those two benefitting from a pair of Evansville errors.

• Ashlyn Matthews was able to strike out five EU hitters over her four innings of work while Morgan Gutierrez punched out one in her lone inning in the circle.

Mississippi Valley finishes up the Best On The Bayou Classic on Sunday with Jacksonville State at 11:15 a.m. and Louisiana Tech at 1:30 p.m.
