Mississippi Valley State Top Performers

  • Darrien Chapman was able to record a walk and a stolen base to be the most productive hitter for the Green and White.
  • Narvin Booker and Maury Weaver were the only other two Devils to reach safely as they both were able to see four balls fail to cross the dish.
  • Pitching-wise, Isaiah Valenzuela was able to set down three Nicholls batters and Iankel Santos struck out one.

Valley State will look to salvage the series with a game three victory on Sunday at 1 p.m. inside Ray E. Didier Field.
